One thing I like about the WordPress blogging platform is that there is an effective community of plugin developers who help users to do anything with their WordPress blogs. You point out a purpose and there is a WordPress plugin for it! Even if it’s not there, you can be sure to see it very soon. Literally, plugins make the WordPress platform more powerful. And that’s why any novice user can use the WordPress platform effectively.
But, as competition is growing in the blogging world, the market is craving for more developments in marketing, design, monetizing, etc. The users, at times, feel a need for a specific plugin to fulfill a certain purpose or to have a more comprehensive solution.
Well, I’m a WordPress user and I feel the need of a few plugins today. And perhaps, you too would feel the same! Here are they – The WordPress Plugin Ideas!

The importance of guest posts are increasing day by day. For any professional blogger, guest posts have become a must for growth and development and reach more readers. On the other hand, having an option in a blog to submit articles by other bloggers as guest bloggers can really take the blog to the next level if done correctly. Most bloggers know this and thus they have this option in their blogs.
But I’m sorry to say that there is no any plugin developed that has been able to sort out all the problems involved in the process of submission and acceptance of guest posts. I’m not saying nobody tried it. The plugins that are available are not well-developed to meet the exact needs of the situation.
Some bloggers do it by using multiple plugins, while others do it solely with email to avoid spam but which consists of many steps.
The bottom line is that there is no Guest Post Plugin to make the guest post process better without any pitfalls.
Hence, the plugin idea is to develop a guest post plugin that makes submitting, accepting and the whole guest post process hassle-less, easier and better than ever!
Infolinks is one of the most widely used ad networks for monetizing blogs after Adsense. The primary ad-format of Infolinks is its in-text ads that pop-up as bubbles on mouse hover. Infolinks automatically selects the texts on which the ads would appear.
Yes, there a an official Infolinks plugin for WordPress. But the plugin does not provide much customization for the appearance of the ads. It only does the task of putting the ad codes into a WordPress blog and some other on and offs!
While using Infolinks, I found that these in-text ads make the content look crappy! As such, a WordPress plugin that allows to select the texts from the content manually on which the ads to appear would be useful for Infolinks publishers. Authors would have much control over the in-text ads as they can select the words or phrases for the ads while creating the content.
There are thousands of WordPress users who use free themes. These free themes do not come with all the widgets that they need to place on the sidebars. Not even premium themes come with all the widgets WordPress users need. Of-course, this is not true to every user as it solely depends on the needs of the user.
Well, my concern is that instead of installing multiple plugins, it would be better if only one plugin provides most of the widgets to be used on blogs’ sidebars.
For instance, free theme users would most probably install different plugins for Social Sharing Widget, Random Posts Widget, a good-looking Feedburner Widget, Top Commenters Widget, etc.
Can they all be integrated into one plugin?
Do you think the above plugin ideas would be helpful?
I’m not a technical expert in WordPress. These plugin ideas came to me due to the difficulties I faced myself while using WordPress. Do give your views and opinions in comments!

Hi Mukesh,
Well, I’m definitely not a developer so this is way beyond my area of expertise. Heck, we’d love everything to be convenient and easy and I have a feeling if someone wants to create something to help with whatever we want there is someone who can do it.
Good luck to those who want to undertake this and you’ve given them some great places to start.

Hi Mukesh, I have installed “WordPress Guest Post Plugin” just now and see if this one works. The only thing I’m worried about are the spammers. But guess their submitted post will not be published without my permission, so that’s the good thing about it.

Hi Angela, I too came across that guest post plugin but after researching a bit more, I found that the plugin contains bugs and that the plugin won’t be updated anymore. So, I thought it’s better not to take risks. Anyway, as you’ve already installed the plugin, don’t forget to share your experience after using it.
Thanks for the comment!

Absolutely, guest post plugin has become a necessity now and nobody would mind to pay for the right plugin.
But I’m sorry to say that there is no any plugin developed that has been able to sort out all the problems involved in the process of submission and acceptance of guest posts. I’m not saying nobody tried it. The plugins that are available are not well-developed to meet the exact needs of the situation.
So what are the exact needs then?

Hello Mukesh,
Nice ideas. for #1 there is already an existing plugin. You must missed it !
It calls – WP User Frontend
It has 2 versions – free and pro .
Free – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-user-frontend/
and, PRO – http://wedevs.com/plugin/wp-user-frontend-pro/
If you just concern about guest post – free version is enough , but of-course lots of more functionality comes with pro.
Better, you check you self. Hope it will help you and others readers here
Cheers
Hi Mahi, the plugin looks good for the purpose. Thanks for the heads up! Hope the guest posting support really works.
